Russell Sams

Russell started acting at the University of Tennessee's Undergraduate Theatre program. After a two year stint of stage acting, he moved to Los Angeles.

Since his residency in L.A., he has completed numerous theatre productions across the city, ten TV guest star appearances, national commercials, twenty-five short films, and ten feature films. He is best known for his role as "Dick" in Bret Easton Ellis' "Rules of Attraction" and opposite of Richard Gere in "The Flock,” both of which are currently showing on HBO.

Along with Richard Gere, Russell has had the honor of working opposite of John Hawkes, Claire Danes, Avril Lavigne, Val Kilmer, Dylan McDermott, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Leslie Bibb, and Ian Somerhalder.

Russell resides in Los Angeles. He currently completed the project "The Men's Room" opposite of Blake Robbins and directed by Jane Pickett for AFI Directing Workshop for Women.
